. . . . and he's off !

I've taken the plunge !  My flights are now booked and paid for :
    Early July : Birmingham - Frankfurt - Jo'berg - Walvis Baai with the Luftwaffe, sorry Lufthansa.
    Mid September : Nairobi - Geneva - Birmingham with Swiss Air.

The bit in between - the where and the how is still a bit hazy.
